The integrated LED capsule further enhances the energy saving features of this light. LEDs, Light Emitting Diode lights, are a type of bulb that claim to use 80% less energy than traditional bulbs. They are safer too; halogen and incandescent bulbs use heat to create light. LEDs bulbs and capsules do not create heat, making them a safer option. They are also environmentally friendly; they don't contain dangerous chemicals like florescent bulbs, therefore they can easily be disposed of and recycled.

The Arrow is part of the Lutec Solar Garden Light Range and has an in-built PIR sensor switch and an understated design and can be easily fixed onto smaller surfaces for better sunlight capture.

PIR: a Passive Infrared Sensor is an electronic sensor that measures infrared light radiating from objects in its detection area. When this sensor identifies movement it triggers the light, so the area is illuminated. This has two useful functions, practical energy saving lighting and as a security alert. In terms of practicality, the light is there for you when you need it and is not wasting energy when you do not. If constant illumination of an area is not needed, then a motion sensor light is ideal. They ensure when you are present you can see your surroundings, they switch off when motion is no longer detected. This saves energy, which is not just important to reduce energy bills for wired lights, but especially useful for Solar Lights, so that your charged battery lasts longer.

Being cable-free means you don't need an Electrician to install the lighting fixture. You can install it yourself; just chose the location and follow the manufacturers installation instructions. Ensure you choose a position that will best capture the suns rays for maximum charging capacity. If you change your mind on its location, it is easy to reinstall in a different area.

It's a good idea to often wipe clean the solar panel to ensure maximum efficiency, as dust and debris can gather over time.

Goods Return Procedure

If you wish to return unwanted items for a refund, you can do so as long as it is within 14 days of receiving the goods. You must have your receipt and the goods must be returned in new, unused and undamaged condition, with all packaging.

The returns process is as follows.

Customer will need to request a GRN (Goods Return Number/form) via email. Any goods sent back without a goods return note attached will not be accepted and will be returned to the customer at their cost.

Once you have been provided with a Goods Return form, you will be required to fill in all areas of the form, with a brief description of the reason for the return and enclose this with the returning item(s).

A label for the returns department address will also be supplied, this will have your own unique reference number which coincides with the GRN. Please then post the goods back at your own cost.

If the goods are sent to our sales office address in Liverpool, you will be charged for carriage to send to the correct returns address. (This will also delay the refund process).

Faulty Goods

If you wish to return goods because they have arrived faulty, please notify us of the fault via telephone or email as soon as you become aware of the fault.

On receipt of the goods, they will be inspected to check for the fault. If agreed to be faulty, we can either repair or replace the goods under warranty or we can refund the amount to your account. If however we do not find the goods to be faulty, they will be returned to you at your cost.
